Shoe City Classic 4 v 4 Soccer Tournament
August

Haverhill Youth Soccer is excited to host the Annual Shoe City Classic 4 v 4 Soccer Tournament in August. Small-sided, fast-paced and super fun format for ages U8 to U16 with divisions for different levels...all games will be played on turf at Haverhill's Trinity Stadium - some games will even be played under the lights. Great warm-up event for the Fall Season!

We are anticipating over 100 teams from Essex County and beyond so we hope you will join us.  More information will be coming in the near future...

Annual North Andover Columbus Day Soccer Tournament
October

The tournament is open to U10, U12 and U14 boys and girls teams in Divisions 1, 2 and 3 to give more players a chance to experience tournament play at this fun event. The Divisions are designed to mirror the divisions of Essex and Middlesex leagues. So if you playing in Division 2 in ECYSA, you should request to play in Division 2 in the tournament.

U12 and U14 teams play three games on Saturday and Sunday. Depending on the number of teams and brackets, some teams will advance to the playoffs, which take place on Monday. Trophies are awarded to each player on the championship team and each player on the finalist team.

U10 teams play two games on Saturday and two games on Sunday. We try very hard to schedule the games so that you play a game, rest a game and then play a second game. The U10 games are intended to be 'friendly', not 'competitive'; team's strengths should be balanced.  Every U10 player receives a trophy.

After each regular scheduled game, each team will present one Sportsmanship award to a player on the other team.

Games start as early as 7:30 AM and go to 6:00 PM. We will hold a U14 Division 1 twilight game under the lights at the High School stadium field on Saturday and Sunday.

This is a 'patch' tournament. Every player and coach will receive a commemorative tournament patch. Teams should exchange town patches after each regular scheduled game (i.e., not including playoffs).

If you are coaching more than one team, let us know. We'll do our best to avoid schedule conflicts between the teams.

North Andover’s Columbus Day Tournament has become an annual destination for teams from across the state and neighboring states. The excitement of this three-day soccer extravaganza is thrilling for players, parents and spectators.

Fun, food and festivities fill each day, both on and off the pitch. We work very hard to make the North Andover Columbus Day Soccer Tournament an enjoyable and entertaining experience for the entire family.

With over 2,000 players, coaches and spectators, this tournament is a great way for your team to prove its skills against tough, but fair competition. Teams are guaranteed at least three games and will be matched up against similarly skilled teams. Coaches of team that have participated in the past will tell you that we do a good job of seeding the tournament so that your players will be paired off with teams at a comparable level of play.

This tournament provides a great atmosphere for players, coaches, parents and fans. It's just great fun to both play and watch some great soccer!
