As you finalize your plans for the last few weeks of summer and brace for the announcement of return to school protocols, what better time to start thinking about Georgetown’s 2023 Cooperstown team?
This will be our 9th year taking a Georgetown team (11 and 12 year olds) to Cooperstown and we are looking forward to another successful trip!
We will be having a PARENTS ONLY informational meeting on xxxx night, August 31st, 2022 at 6:30 PM via Zoom. Zoom information will be sent out prior to the meeting.
This meeting is NOT mandatory but is certainly helpful as you decide whether or not to have your player tryout. The meeting will cover a lot of important information about the Cooperstown experience, what to expect, what it will cost, tryout dates and expectations from parents and players, etc. This will be an opportunity to ask as many questions as you need and have an opportunity to listen to past players and parents describe their experience.
There will be three tryout dates (to be considered eligible, players must attend at least two of the three tryouts). There will be no additional tryouts or private tryouts so please plan accordingly.

Sunday, Sep 11th – 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Monday, Sep 12th – 5:00 – 7:00 PM
Tuesday, Sep 13th – 5:00 – 7:00 PM
The final team roster (and alternates) will be named within one week of the last tryout date.
All players must be from Georgetown to be eligible to try out for this team. Team coaches will be announced after the team has been named.
Lastly, the evaluators will not consider your players involvement in AAU baseball programs, private lessons, summer baseball participation, etc., when evaluating the players. The players will be evaluated based on their performance at the tryout.
