7/24/2008: FLAG FOOTBALL CLINIC THIS SATURDAY 7/26 (Published by Carl Norloff)

Hello Everyone,

The 2nd Annual Flag Football Clinic is nearly here!  This year's event will be held on July 26th from 8:00am to 12:00pm at Georgetown Middle/High School on the football field.  After the clinic, Partners for Georgetown Football will be organizing a cookout for all the participates and their families.  This event is open to boys and girls from the ages of 6 to 13.

The cost of the clinic is $15 dollars, which will help cover the cost of the t-shirts that we are handing out to all the players as well as all the food and drinks purchased.  All funds will be collect on the day of the event.  If paying by check, please make checks payable to: Partners for Georgetown Football.

This event will be coached by the high school football staff with the assistance of the youth flag football staff and the high school players.  Participates will be brought through several offensive and defensive teaching progressions.  In addition, each athlete will work on drills for speed, agility, power, and balance.  To finish off the clinic, each player will apply the skills they have learned in a scrimmage within their own age group.

If you have not sign-up for this event, and you will like your young athlete to participate, please contact me as soon as possible.

I am very excited about this year's clinic and I hope to see you all there.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you,

Matthew J. Bouchard
